I am:
- A computational scientist working in artificial intelligence
- A climber
- A writer
- A “post-professional” and currently “funemployed”
- Traveling and climbing full-time
- Perpetually in need of a shave
In June 2008, I left an excellent position in defense research to start an on-going adventure. I packed a haul bag and went to Asia for seventeen months, climbing.
- India – 3 months
- Pakistan – 1 month
- China – 2 months
- Vietnam – 2 months
- Cambodia
- Thailand – 2 months
- Laos – 1 month
- Back to China, including Tibet – 5 months
- Nepal – 1 month
This blog is a chronicle of my adventure, of its aftermath, and its lasting effects on my life.
